BYMENDEZ is a Colombian brand of vegan leather backpacks, briefcases and bags, handmade in Barranquilla since 2019. We sell only in Colombia, at bymendez.co, on WhatsApp and on Instagram. We do not ship outside Colombia.

Does BYMENDEZ ship outside Colombia?
No. BYMENDEZ sells and ships only within Colombia, to every department, with the carrier Coordinadora. There is no international shipping. Delivery is free, with no minimum purchase, to Colombia's main cities. Some products pay 20,000 Colombian pesos to remote areas, and the exact cost appears at checkout.
Is BYMENDEZ vegan leather real leather?
No. Real leather is tanned animal hide. BYMENDEZ uses vegan leather, a synthetic material with a PVC base that looks and feels like leather but contains no animal-derived materials. It repels splashes and light rain, cleans with a slightly damp cloth and does not need leather creams.
Where are BYMENDEZ backpacks made?
In the BYMENDEZ workshop in Barranquilla, on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Every backpack and bag is cut and sewn by hand, and the initials on personalized bags are embroidered by hand. The brand was founded there by Wil Mendez in March 2019 and has sold across Colombia since then.
What does the BYMENDEZ warranty cover?
Every product has a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects: loose stitching, seams, zippers, hardware and straps. Repairs are done by hand in the Barranquilla workshop. The warranty does not cover misuse, cuts, burns, punctures, stains or normal wear. To start a claim, send your order number and photos on WhatsApp.
